I would be F***ing scared if I saw that coming my way! =D Great job so far. Are the pages with out people on them faster and/or funner to do than those with people? (the fire looks really cool! =D)

both funner and faster.
Humans are something I put way too much effort into and I'm never happy with the results. With robots and monsters I feel like I have more freedom.

Hey I like how the tanks have these spikes for transport (I forgot how their "chain wheels" are called). It's wicked! Especially because it's more frightening to think about what happens if people get ran over by that.

About your panel 2. Maybe change the perspective so the camera is on the ground and *looks up* to the tank as it shoots? That way you could still show both the spikes and the cannon part.

Panel three is very good! Definitely an explosion effect. Maybe add some more single blazes flying about this big fire. :) Makes the explosion look greater.

I don't think I'll alter this one - the prologue will be about 50 pages and I want to plow through it

50 pages is a lot for a prologue. o_o Good luck, this is gonna need a lot of patience to make.
