I love that she's smoking a pipe! And the boots, and the.. um.. vest..? and her pose.. You really captured her character even though there's not a lot of information about her yet. Thanks so much! I'll have my half up shortly. C:

- Loves burlesque
- Smokes pipes
- Cat lover
- Not young, not old
- Loves corsets and anything that laces up

Do I really draw people looking much older than they actually are? It's really not my intention, but people have pointed it out before. I draw it as I see it, but I guess it turns out wrong.

For example, an abbreviated conversation I once had:

:( Madeline looks like she's elderly.
Me: She's supposed to be 45. You really think she looks elderly?
:( Yeah, she has bags under her eyes and her cheeks are all saggy.
Me: But 45-year-olds look like that. We can't all be Highlanders or Japanese women.
