I'm making sketchy nudes of each character for my own reference and for to design fitting costumes. has been a huge help with historical references. I'll post the finished costumes as the come along.
I got into an interesting conversation with a straight man while drawing this. He was all, "You have to be at least a little bit attracted to women - look how hot you drew this one!"
I didn't even think about her as hot. I was just drawing what I thought was aesthetically pleasing. It's like drawing a tree or a horse or a very good piece of architecture. I admire the shapes and construction but it's not erotic.
Absolutely. There are some male bodies I've seen in photos and such on DA that I'm like I wish I could draw that that well, or even better, I wish I had those abs.
Lavinia is great - though, her story bigotry does make her a turnoff.
Your women are gorgeous!

Does that make any sense?
